Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Askr. By creating an account you agree to them. If you are using Askr for an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

What Askr does

Askr lets you build a questionnaire and collect answers through WhatsApp. Messages are delivered through WhatsApp Business Platform, which is operated by Meta and subject to Meta's own terms and policies.

Your account

You sign in with Google. Keep that account secure — anything done through your Askr account is treated as done by you. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access.

What you may not do

Forms are delivered from a phone number shared with other creators. Misuse by one creator can get that number restricted for everyone, so we enforce this strictly. You may not use Askr to:

• send unsolicited or bulk messages to people who did not ask for them
• collect payment card numbers, passwords, or government identity numbers
• impersonate another person, business, or organisation
• run frauds, scams, phishing, or deceptive giveaways
• harass, threaten, or target anyone
• break any law that applies to you or to your respondents
• breach the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy

We may suspend or remove any form or account that breaks these rules, without notice where the risk is immediate.

Your responsibilities to respondents

You are the controller of the answers your forms collect. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect them, for telling respondents what you will do with them, and for honouring their requests to access or delete their data. Do not ask for more than you need.

Your content

Your forms and the responses you collect remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to host, process, and display them so the service works.

Availability

Askr is provided as-is. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and parts of it depend on Meta and Google, which we do not control. We may change or discontinue features. Where a change is significant and affects paid plans, we will give reasonable notice.

Paid plans

Paid plans are billed in advance for the period shown at checkout. Message credits for outbound campaigns are prepaid and non-refundable once spent. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the period already paid for.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to Askr is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect losses.

Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time. We may end your access if you break these terms. On termination, your forms and their responses are deleted.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will update the date above and notify you by email before it takes effect.
